We also have a dedicated Employee Development team who will support you and your line manager to find the best Personal Development Plan for you. By learning on the job, you'll quickly learn vital industry knowledge and be able to support us in delivering outstanding customer service to our residents.

A look back at National Apprenticeship Week!

Celebrating our Apprentices for NAW2022

We are hugely passionate about our Apprenticeships and we are keen to make more people in our community aware of the schemes we offer. Looking back at National Apprenticeship Week last week, we had some apprentices and colleagues share their experiences from within the housing sector.

Heather Moore, Organisational Development Manager at Fairhive, told us that;

"The apprenticeship scheme offers the opportunity for us to develop talented employees who will grow and develop within the business, and in some cases will be our managers of the future”.

We also spoke to two of our current apprentices undergoing very differing roles, Phoebe, Electrical Apprentice and Georgia, Communications Apprentice.

Phoebe has been with us since September last year and has settled in really well. She shared:

“I enjoy the wide range of work I do as an Electrical Apprentice. I feel every day is so different so I tend to learn so much in one day because of the diversity of my role.”

Phoebe has already received great feedback from our residents when working out in the Community. To get more insight into a day on the job as an Apprenticeship with us, you can read her full interview here.

Georgia joined our Communications team in June of 2021. She told us;

“I enjoy working with my team at the Trust who are experienced in my field. I am able to pick up so much useful information everyday which adds to my development”.

To read more about her apprenticeship, see the full interview here.

Our apprenticeship opportunities are varied across the organisation and we advertise our vacancies at different points throughout the year. Keep-up-to-date on our ‘Work For Us’ page as we will be offering Apprenticeships later this year!
