Anstey Court, our new energy-efficient homes.

Our new-build Independent Living Scheme, Anstey Court, was unveiled at the start of this month. Anstey Court, situated in the picturesque village of Waddesdon, comprises 16 flats for residents aged 60 and over looking to downsize. We warmly welcomed local councillors, Fairhive Board members, builders and designers at the opening event for a guided tour of the available flats and to discuss our direction with future development.

Anstey Court was built with our sustainability objectives at the forefront, with all flats heated by air-source heat pumps and electric vehicle charging points fitted at the scheme. We are pledging to maximise the energy efficiency of all our new homes with an aim to achieve an Energy Performance Certificate rating of B or higher. We are pleased this development in Waddesdon has achieved an EPC rating of A, the highest efficiency rating. This means the homes meet environmental sustainability standards and are the most efficient in terms of likely fuel costs and carbon dioxide emissions, therefore saving our residents money and benefitting the environment.

Matthew Applegate, Chief Executive of Fairhive Homes, added: “Anstey Court is significant in that it sets the standard for independent living for the older resident in Buckinghamshire. It allows them to live in an attractive new flat that fits their needs perfectly, and is more cost effective to maintain.”

If you are interested in a flat at Anstey Court, please email contact@fairhive.co.uk and ask for the Housing Options Officer.
